Hey friends!

Like the new brighter blog? Good! me too! it’s in part because I’m in a VERY good place with my life right now and wanted that to reflect in my everyday life and since social media is a big part of that, I though it could use a little sprucing up.

So…you’ve probably noticed that it’s been a while since my last blog post. Actually about a month to be exact. That is mainly due to my time being spent and put into one of my biggest passions in life. My art. It’s something that I’ve always done and has been passed down from generations on my dads side. My grandfather was a graphic designer and my dad had done some graphic design/art in his day as well so I guess you could say I come by it honestly.

You can see in the pictures above that I have many different styles of abstracts which is mainly because i’m trying to find my voice in the art world and where I want to go. I have so many different artists that inspire me and some pieces reflect that inspiration but I want to discover my own path and that’s pretty much where i’m at right now on my artistic journey.

What you don’t see pictured are some of my landscapes that i’ve done. Those used to be ALL that I would paint and draw but now i’m branching out with abstracts which i’m growing to love. My main goal is to 1) Have a gallery showing of my work and 2) Work with interior designers to pull my pieces from my collection for their spaces they create. I’m not sure how to go about doing that but in the meantime I plan on finding my voice and sharing with you guys.

I will be adding an art section to my blog page soon so I can share with you my many different mediums that I work with. It ranges from pen & ink, watercolors, oils, acrylics etc. I can’t wait to share with you.

Also, one of my biggest things when I paint is being comfortable. I usually wear my denim shirt and some old jeans but I think I’ve found my new favorite bottoms to paint in. They are these super stretchy DIA shorts from @wearspuds and have been the best things to work in. Whether i’m squatting down our reaching across a huge canvas, these shorts stretch with me and are amazingly comfortable. Perfect for working out in, wearing out on the weekends or painting a masterpiece. Be sure to check them out from the link (www.spuds.com).

I can’t wait to share more art with you guys. Oh yeah! be sure to follow my art feed on Instagram @kbfineart. If there’s anything that you see you’d like to purchase, please send me a DM and I can give you pricing details.

-Best
