Happy Monday you guys! did you have a great weekend?

I’m happy to say that Cameron and I had a WONDERFUL weekend. This is the first time, in a long time…and I mean a LONG time, that it’s been sunny and somewhat warm. I didn’t realize just how much I needed the sunlight to put me in a good mood. We both slept in a little on Saturday and by a little I mean till 8:30am. Haha! were early risers. We made some coffee and watched an episode of Fixer Upper which has become what we do now before bed each night and in the mornings on the weekends. I just love Chip & Joanna don’t you? :)

After relaxing for a bit we got dressed and ventured to Franklin for the day where we met up with the CEO and developer of the new Harpeth Square hotel and apartments that are going up in downtown Franklin. Let me tell you…this commercial space is going to be a game changer for the little town I love. After meeting with him and getting some info on the new space and design we went to a new little coffee shop called “The Coffee House” which I NEVER knew was in Franklin. I am a Frothy Monkey lover myself but was pleasantly surprised by the charm of this cute little cafe. We nourished our bodies with

soup, sandwiches and coffee of course before venturing into some antiquing.

After a few hours of walking around antique stores we decided to trek to Leiper’s Fork just outside of Franklin. This little town is another one of our favorites and it’s charm and character are the reason why. We went to our favorite shop which was the David Arms gallery and then it was off to other shops and art galleries where we enjoyed some fire pits which invited us to come sit by it’s warmth. Tempting us with graham crackers and marshmallows we filled our bellies with deliciousness and had a wonderful rest of our day.

Cameron and I have been together over 9 months now and I grow more fond of him each day. We have shared so many things together already and I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store.

I hope you guys have a wonderful week and I hear we might get some snow on Tuesday here in Nashville  which is blowing my mind considering what a nice weekend we had. Take care and be safe whatever you guys do.
