 Happy Monday guys!

So I’ve been a fan of Julia Child since I was a kid. I remember going to my Oma’s and she would be watching Julia on tv and all her recipes. I’ve never personally made any of her recipes till the other day when I made her famous beef borguignon. I saw this recipe in the movie Julie & Julia, which is one of my favorites, and I thought I needed to bring it to life in my own kitchen and let me tell you…IT WAS DELICIOUS. The moment I made the red wine reduction sauce with bacon and beef I knew I had something magical happening.

I love the reaction of Cameron when he walks in the door and smells something I’m baking or cooking and his eyes light up. He absolutely loved this dish and could not stop eating it. Neither could I. I invite you guys to try this recipe in your own home this winter if you’re looking for a simple elegant recipe that is sure to wow your family or guests.

Without further adieu…beef borguignon. Bon Appetit!
