What’s up my friends?!

I know I know…you’re probably asking…where the heck have I been. haha! well I’ve been in Colorado and I haven’t had a chance to really sit down and update you guys on what’s been going on in my life.

First of all I just want to say that I had the BEST time in Colorado. It was my first trip out there and I can say with absolute certainty that I will be back. I can’t even describe to you the time I had. I went with two of my best friends in the whole world and we had so much fun together. We pretty much did the trip right by staying in Broomfield which is in between Boulder and Denver. It seemed that it was the perfect location for all the places that we visited driving wise.

We hit up a lot of the major areas of Colorado from Boulder, Colorado Springs, Rocky Mountain National Park, Breckenridge and Denver. I’m sure you’ve seen most of these photos on my Instagram because I was blowing up my feed with all these gorgeous mountain views. It’s so crazy to me because what you would see with your eye you couldn’t even begin to capture it on photo. If you’ve been there you know exactly what i’m talking about. If you haven’t…you need to get your ass out there.

I can’t even begin to start with all the amazing food we had. Let’s just say I gained about 15 pounds easy. I think I ate my body weight in vegan chocolate chip cookies from Whole Foods which there was one literally on every corner. It was Whole Foods, Target & Starbucks at every turn. It was amazing!!

I don’t think there was one place that I loved more than the other. I did not, however, care much for downtown Denver. I think partly because we had spent all week in the mountains and snow that going from mountains to an urban atmosphere kinda threw us off but regardless I wanted to be back in the mountains.

I can’t wait to go back and we might be making it an annual trip which i’m totally ok with.

So you may have noticed that I haven’t been blogging as much lately which is partly due to the fact that I’m going full force into my artwork. It’s something that i’ve always been passionate about and have wanted to spend a lot more time with lately. I’ve actually seen a great deal of success so far from pursuing it more and I really don’t want to stop. I still will be blogging but I am going to be focusing more on my artwork. My goal is to try and work with interior designers to have them pull my pieces to incorporate into their designs. Also, I have been doing commission pieces which I will still do as well so if that’s something you are interested in please visit my Instagram art feed at @kbfineart and shoot me a message if you’re interested in me creating a piece for your home or office.

Thank you guys so much for following me on this journey and I look forward to hearing from you guys and creating more pieces to share with you.

Best
