How’s it going my Stay.Foxx friends?

So…not only does NYC have amazing places to see but the food here is out of this world. One place in particular that I really enjoyed was The Butcher’s Daughter. The name might be off-putting but this place has nothing to do with meat. In fact it’s a “Vegetable Slaughterhouse” as they say.

This restaurant is a great place to stop for sustenance after a long days walk around the city. With its old world, rustic, European charm. You’re sure to have an enjoyable dining experience.

If you are in the city be sure to stop by and try some of the things we ordered:

  • Spinach Artichoke Crock: Layers of spinach, artichoke, cashew ricotta & parmesan baked & served with toasted baguette.

  • Cashew Ricotta & Fig Mostarda: Cashew ricotta cheese, fig spread and toasted baguette.

  • Spicy Kale Ceasar Salad:  Baby kale, avocado, almond parmesan, toasted almonds, crispy shallots & 7 grain croutons. I added grilled “chicken” on top of mine but it’s all plant based but oh so good.
