Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars

Ok guys! so my holiday baking has gone a little overboard but it’s only because I love this time of year so much. Haha! I’m not depriving myself of my favorite goodies and that includes my new favorite which are these cranberry bliss bars that literally taste better than the ones at Starbucks.

I had no clue what these even were till Cameron asked me if I had ever tried one before and I hadn’t so he got us one on a chilly Saturday morning while grabbing a cup of coffee and the rest is history. This is seriously one of my favorite seasonal treats that you can honestly eat any time of the year. I’m so glad I found the recipe because it’s so decedent and delicious you’ll want to make more than once. In fact, I’m making some to take to my families for Christmas this weekend. The recipe I’m using came from www.belleofthekitchen.com who has more amazing recipes.

I hope you enjoy and have a Merry Christmas!

Line a 13×9 rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. This pan makes for thicker bars like the ones Starbucks has and the ones you’ll see here. for thinner bars you can use a 15×10 baking sheet.

In a bowl mix your butter and brown sugar together until blended

Add you salt, ground ginger, baking powder and mix. Then add your eggs.

Now add your orange and vanilla extracts following your flour. Be careful not to over mix.

once your batter is ready…fold in your white chocolate and craisins.

Once everything is combined spread out into your lined baking sheet evenly and bake at 350° for 22-25 minutes depending on your oven. I just wait till golden brown and put a toothpick in the middle and if it comes out clean it’s done.

Let cool on a wire rack and start on your frosting.

I think the secret to a good recipe are your ingredients. When it comes to chocolate I only use Ghirardelli chocolate as it has the best flavor and is so rich and creamy. Melt one bar of white baking chocolate in a double boiler for your drizzle over your frosting and craisins.

Coarsely chop craisins to top over your frosting

Spread your frosting (recipe below) sprinkle your chopped craisins and drizzle with a fork the melted white chocolate. You’ll want to pop in the fridge for about an hour to set before you cut into bars.

How good do these look? I mean…

You know I couldn’t NOT eat one. haha!

I’m putting your ingredients below along with more detailed instructions. I hope you guys love these bars and make them over and over again throughout the year to share with your family and loved ones.
