What’s up guys!

Just dropping in to share with you guys my trip to Miami last week. We had a BLAST to say the least. We left out on Wednesday afternoon and got in town around 7:00pm. Upon landing we headed to a nice little restaurant on the water unwinding from the flight. We had great conversation considering this was the first trip that the 4 of us have taken together.

After dinner we grabbed a drink at Calypso, which if any of you are familiar with “The Birdcage”, some of it was filmed there. They had huge margaritas that did not disappoint.

The gang and I woke up Thursday morning to trek down to Key Largo for a little bit of snorkeling and drinks afterwards. The water and coral reef was so vast and beautiful. After we finished being part Ariel’s world we decided to make the drive to Key West. It was only an hour and a half from Key Largo and we knew it would be a while since we would all be back together so we said “Why not?”.

I had never been to Key West before and can honesty say that It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve been. I think being there with my buddies and overlooking the sunset made the experience that much more special. I definitely would go back.

Friday was pretty much spent on the road back to Miami. We hit a few storms along the way which delayed our return but we made it back safely. We headed to Miami Beach for a few hours before heading to our room to rally and get ready for dinner. We hit up this swanky joint called Sweetbirds which, if you’re ever in South Beach, you need to checkout. They had great cocktails and the food was AMAZING!! After stuffing our faces we hit the town and ventured to a few bars for some more drinks.

Saturday was our Britney day so we didn’t want to do too much before the concert that evening that would get us tuckered out so we headed to a nude beach to get some sun. Yes! I said nude beach. It was something we had all tossed around as a joke and then somehow ended up becoming a reality. I had never been to a nude beach before and it was such an interesting experience. I’m the type of person that if put into a situation I will usually just go with what is going on and blend in. So off my shorts came and on with the sunscreen. Haha! it took a bit for my buddies to join in but eventually they were right there with me. Sun’s out, Bun’s out right? haha!

That evening consisted of what we originally came down to Miami for which was to see Britney’s Piece of Me show. I had watched Brit Brit since I was little on the MMC and have always felt like I’ve grown up with her. Seeing her in person for the first time was nothing short of amazing. It almost felt like I wasn’t there if that makes any sense. I had the best time and that girl did not stop from the time the show started to the very end. Such a powerhouse and I love her so much.

Sunday morning we all awoke and headed to brunch where we devoured southern biscuits and eggs and all the fixings. Being from the south, us southern boys need our biscuits. haha! after breakfast we headed to Woodland Park which was covered in murals. Literally every building is covered in some type of art which blew me away. We stopped off for some ice cream and a little bit of retail therapy before heading to the airport to come back to Nashville

The trip was fairly short but seemed like we were there for weeks. I had so much fun with my guys and glad we had a chance to spend time together. Especially since we are all so busy these days and finding time with just us is limited.

My boyfriend Cameron and I are heading to California the end of this month and I’m so excited to spend that time with him. This will be our first trip just the two of us and I can’t wait. We are meeting up with some new friends to explore Catalina Island and L.A. so stay tuned for more adventures.
